Lin Arison, the heiress of Carnival Cruises is buying condos in South Florida. She is the widow of Ted Arison, founder of Carnival and an arts patron. She has made 4 condo purchases in the last year and also owns 6 condos in the Bal Harbour Tower which amounts to $12 million. Her latest purchase was $2.4 million last month.
Arison is also the founder of the National Young Arts Foundation and first moved to Bal Harbour Tower in 2000 a year after the death of her husband who is also the father of Miami Heat owner Mickey Arison.
